| Project Description:
Here is the fax notification I receive into my email account Outlook 2007. You have 89 new fax(es). This is a link to a fax. To view it, click https://webrouter.accessline.com/tw2/GM?S:75070-42864-39435608522628-106810959 Or go to https://webrouter.accessline.com/tw2/GM?S and enter 75070-42864-39435608511628-106810959 The first URL is pointing to a PDF file that if you click on it, the PDF will be openedâ€? What I needed to be done: Upon arrival of the email I would like via Rules and Alert of Outlook 2007 a script or adobe application to be kidded off in silent mode “No windows to be displayed to the PC operatorâ€?and attach to the PDF link and run OCR “Optical Character Readerâ€?and if following words are in the PDF do as follow: 1.¡¡¡¡If “Refillâ€?or/and “Prescriptionâ€?or/and â€? Exist move the email to Refill folder/subfolder in outlook. 2.¡¡¡¡If “Authorizationâ€?or/and “Monarchâ€?or/and â€? Exist move the email to Auth folder/subfolder in outlook. 3.¡¡¡¡The lists of words are dynamic and I would decide latter by selecting and sorting, I only want flexibility of selection and setting the rules myself. Adobe forums responded that: 5. Feb 10, 2010 6:20 AM in response to: JeffBPaarsa Re: Loading a URL that points to a PDF for OCR processing... OCR can be invoked via a custom plugin (written in C/C++) and then you can search for the text. The SDK has all the documentation and sample code available. |
