As a Gold Provider, your bid information of a project will be listed on the top of all the others and when the service buyers post a project, they may select it shown to Gold Provider only. Your information will be seen by all the service buyers. Also, we will checkup your former work experience and the records of successful developed projects and public them on our web site so that you may win more chances. More comprehensive services for Gold Providers will come soon.
We strongly suggest that you discuss the project requirements, milestones and payment terms before work begins to avoid any miscommunication or delays.
If you feel dissatisfied with your cooperator, do report all the information to Dispute Department, we will strive to help you solve it.
After we receive that report, we'll analyze all the evidences refer to the dispute and send email to both side with our opinion. This process may repeat until the disputants come to an acceptable result.
Freelancerchina dose not act as a judge to determine who is right or wrong; we just help you clarify parts of miscommunication and misunderstanding, collect the evidence of the project's depiction and delivery as well as the record of the command and reply.
You are encouraged to use the Massage Board for all the communication before and during the project, since in case of a dispute, the documentation on the Massage Board will help both side as well as Freelancerchina clarify the truth.
If the mediation fails, service buyer may retrieve the money they deposit in the escrow payment with a little decrease.
Freelancerchina provides escrow as a free, bonus, and automated service only as a tool to help members transact more securely and conveniently. We do not act as an arbitrator between parties, should a dispute arise, except in limited situations. Financial disputes should be resolved between members, or via another third party, and without FLC whenever possible. We do, however, reserve the right to cancel an escrow payment, at any time, if we believe we are left with no other option. We also reserve the right to complete an escrow payment if no response is received from the payer, after repeated attempts at contact, for 30 continuous days.
You are not allowed to exchange direct contact with another member, unless a buyer has chosen a coder as his project winner and made escrow, then our system will automatically send your contacts to the counterpart. This includes giving out your e-mail address, Instant Messenger, Skype, ICQ number, phone number, or any other method of contact outside of this site. FLC provides you with message boards, which should be sufficient for pre-project planning.
An individual may not possess more than one Buyer account and one Provider account, unless they have contacted and received authorization from FLC staff. Users found with unauthorized multiple accounts, or found to be using multiple accounts to avoid bad reviews, fees, suspensions or other limitations, will face suspension of all their accounts. It is prohibited under all circumstances to transfer ownership of an account, without authorization from FLC staff. Accounts that are dead (have no login activity) for more than 12 months may be frozen and deleted with their remaining funds deducted by FLC.
It's simple. You register an account and post your project. Service provider will bid on your project. Please login to select a service provider you wish to hire from My Account area and Freelancerchina can provide you a safe way to pay the service provider through Freelancerchina.com's Escrow Payment service when you both agree on the process of the project.
Login, go to My Account. Click My Project and you will see all your projects there. Click the detail button of the project to find all the bid information there; read them as well as the Massage Board, and select one service provider best matches your request by clicking the Just you button beside his name.
After the service provider you selected has completed your project and the payment was released, you will be able to do this by going to My Account. You will find available service provider to rank from there.
As a common service buyer, Freelancerchina.com is totally free for you. Only the Trusted Buyers will be charged a fee of $15 per month, $30 per three months, $50 per half year or $80 per year for our service.
It's forbidden to edit a started project, but you can add some additional information to it.
If you are a Trusted Buyer, we'll set your projects as featured ones automatically. If you are a common service buyer, unfortunately we have not the featured project service for you now. We will upgrade our system of that for you soon.
Escrow Payment with Us.
Use our Escrow Payment service to pay professionals risk-free. With Escrow, your payment will be deposited to a third party account provided by Freelancerchina.com, and we hold your payment until you get the agreed-upon work.
Most likely you violated our terms. Commonly, two reasons may cause this situation. The first one is you have posted contact information on our site which is not allowed. The second one is you are prosecuted by some one of violation. Contact us and we will work on making your account activated again.

An escrow payment can not be retracted so far.
Once the project is under development, only two actions are allowed then, service buyer releases the payment or applies for arbitration. If both sides of the contract agree to cancel the cooperation, they can go to the step of Arbitration and explain the condition there, Freelancerchina.com will dispose that.
When your project goes to the payment stage, you have to send a start-up request to the provider you have chosen and after he/she agrees to do it, the agree reply will reach to you as well as a payment request. Go to your account and click the Payment button in the project page, you can deposit money into our Escrow Payment Account.
When the vendor finishes the development of your project and you feel satisfied with it, you can login to your account and click the Release button. Then the project fund will be switched to the vendor's account. If you are not content with the design, you have the right of refusing to release the money and applying for the mediation.
Please login to your account, select the project and you will see all the bid information. Click the service provider's name you want to communicate with and you will see a massage board for you and that provider. Communicate there freely!
Please login, go to My Account, request to cancel project from there. When the request has been made we will process it within 1 business day.
Since service providers based their bids on the project description we don't allow changes on projects after bidding started. It's possible to add additional information. When you do this all service providers who already made a bid will be notified.
This means the end date you chose for the project has past. No service provider can place any new bid; you must pick a service provider or extend the project or cancel it.
You will have to contact us and explain your situation. We might have to ask for confirmation from the service provider.
A 5% of the project funds will be deducted as the transaction fee when refunding happens.
The buyer has 5 working days to deposit the funds into his escrow account after he selects someone as his project winner. If the buyer failed to do that, the project will go back to the original status.
When the provider has delivered his work and you are satisfied with that, you should click the [release] button timely, if you ignored to do this, we will release the funds to the provider after our notifying you by emails for three times, the responding time for this is 1 month.

It's free to join Freelancerchina.com! We only charge a small amount of commission. For the Common Members, we charge 10% from their project fees while as for the Gold Providers we only charge 7% from their project fees. Yes, just click the "withdraw money" button in the account management area. Our service team will delivering the money to you. Note that you cannot withdraw less than $30.00 at a time.

Yes, it's free to make a bid.
Browse all the projects. Select the one that most fit your skill. Enter your bid and comment and submit it. You might need to login if you have not done it while doing this.
Yes you can. Login into your account, open [My bid], then you can modify your bid in the form, after you modify, the original quote and the finally adjusted quote will appear in the form afterwards.
After you have done a project and the payment is delivered you will be able to do this by going to My Account. You will find available service buyer to rank from there.
Now we can accept most of the abroad cards. When you apply to withdraw your funds, our employee will contact you as soon as possible to ask for your bank account information. (since it is more secure). Then we will make the prompt transfer.
As for the service fees, if you are a Gold Provider, we will only charge 7% from your total funds, and if you are a common provider, we will charge 10% as the service fee.
Then as for the transfer fees, if you have an American bank account or card, the bank will not deduct the transfer fees, while if you do not have one, or you only have a domestic account in China, the bank will deduct $25 as the transfer fees.
Because it has not yet been processed. As soon as it's been processed you will be notified and we will remove the pending status. Please don't make a new request as long as you have a request in pending status. It might cause a delay. Normal withdrawals are processed on Mondays and Tuesdays for the requests made in the previous week.

If the buyer and the provider did not rate each other after the project was done, our system will automatically reward the two parts a full mark of 25 points after 30 working days.
Yes, New members cannot withdraw funds within 30 days of their first project payment. Freelancerchina reserves the right to suspend a withdrawal if the source of the funds is suspected to be fraudulent. Any funds received from an account having made a fraudulent deposit (e.g. stolen credit card) will be reversed immediately. If in a fraudulent payment situation a withdrawal has already been processed, you will be expected to return the funds to your FLC account or face account termination. FLC cannot be held liable for deposits reversed without its authorization due to reasons, including, but not limited to, fraud, chargebacks or complaints.
