Long term dedicated LAMP developer for a US consulting company
The client is a US based IT consulting company.
After receiving the client's detailed requirements, we searched through our database of talented professionals, chose six programmers and then forwarded their resumes to the client. We then arranged for interviews between the client and the candidates. They communicated via Skype and the client learnt more about each developer's technical abilities. The client was very impressed by three of them, but found it very difficult to make a decision as to which one to choose. We suggested that the client give each developer a small test project for future evaluation. Within a week, the US client identified the candidate that best suited their needs. The developer then secured a one year commitment from the US consulting company.
As the project proceeded, Freelancerchina.com acted as a neutral third party in order to reduce the risks to those on both sides of the agreement. The developer worked directly for the client and the client then: paid a fee in advance at the beginning of each month, sent feedback on the developer's output and indicated whether or not Freelancerchina.com should release the funds at the end of each month. Freelancerchina.com will only release funds to the developer after receiving the client's approval. The programmers are now working for the client as in-house developers and the project has been proceeding to the client's satisfaction.
