The actual page layout and design will be determined by XML and CSS, which you will be responsible for - design concept will be provided. A user will need to be able to search for flights, hotels and cars with the site returning results from virtually unlimited travel sites. This script will be required to integrate with the affiliate programs. The program must use as few server resources as possible and be "friendly" when grabbing data results. Results caching should be included to speed additional searches. AJAX, Java 5 Perl, Ruby, Memcached would be expected to be used in the application. As I will only be making money via affiliate programs cost is an important factor. All the services/features you you see publicly at the sites mentioned above, and all of the administrative function interfaces for the back end. I only want to work with service providers who have existing experience in a very similar project and are ready to move forward immediately with partial or full existing code. You should have a demo available or samples of a systems / site you have created demonstrating a good % of the features required for this price comparison portal. This project will be won by those who can provide DEMOS of existing VERY SIMILAR/IDENTICAL work and good communication on PMB. No standard responses, and if you bid please PMB explaining what work you have done in the past related to this project, provide example urls and any comments/suggestions.
