Our local customer in West Chester, PA (http://www.vendapin.com/press22.html) is asking to purchase a custom program and machines for Laundromat's from our company. You have the experience with Visual Basic or another high level language to write a program for this specific vending application. He is asking for this below machine to be mounted on the counter of the Laundromat so that handicap people can access it in a wheelchair. We have created this machine for him...all that is left is the software to be developed. Please note the machine below: The Family Laundry company wants to install hundreds of these machines and distribute the machines to the Laundry market. What is needed is this: We need to have developed for VENDAPIN L.L.C. a software program with touch screen ICON selections that would have 1 - 64 selections as small pictures of washers and dryers on the screen with numbers that match actual machines. The above machine would have one (1) USB cable from our "Embedded Systems Touch Screen PC" that would be routed to the back room where on the wall would be a USB rack with blocks of 8 USB hubs as shown below. Each output from the USB hub would go in parallel to a coin switch of a washer or a dryer or other machine that has a coin mechanism currently on it...to include the soap vending machine and other vending machines in the laundry. It requires a 100ms switch closure to start a washer or dryer. VCB-2 USB controller board I have quoted them this hardware solution and have not quoted them for the software. I have to have a high language programmer write a programmer for our company to do this. Are you interested in creating a software program for us? The spec's for the model 5008PT Touch Screen Embedded PC program are as follows? Show a display on the screen of the Embedded Touch Screen PC for 1-64 ICON images with numbers from 1 - 64. Each of these numbers would address a VCB-2 controller board through the USB hub. Accept input cash from a USB Matrix bill acceptor. Accept coins from a USB coin mechanism via a special programmed VCB-2 board. Accept credit cards from the USA credit card reader kit. Show the value of the cash inserted on the screen. As selections are made...the cash value on the screen should decrement. Print out to a receipt the amount tendered and machines selected. If the washer or dryer is being used....show busy on the numbered ICON's of the touch screen display by making the ICON "jiggle". At a later date...allow access to the screen from an outside Internet location. In other words, allow our customer to go to an IP address of this model 5008PT and see the screen with PC Anywhere or another program. This will allow students and normal customers to see if the washers are busy or if their load of clothes are done. My customer is located in West Chester, PA would very much like to order this software and our VCB-2 boards. They want to be the sales agent to distribute and install these laundry vending packages. We are willing to spend the funds to purchase this software program from you We do not intend to sell this program. It will be part of our 5008PT machine when sold to this customer. I am soliciting a "Visual Basic 6.0" or other high language programmer for this work to be done for us. Please give me your RFQ answer on this if you are interested in doing software program for us. Again...this is a very basic program with fixed parameters. We will provide all of the tools you may need. We will pay a very fair price making it well worth your time to do this for us.
