| Project Description:
The program is to be a Forex (Foreign currency) trader that will run in an MS Windows environment. The Project will be based off the API located here: http://www.cmsfx.com/en/platform/VTapi/ The program must be able to decide when the conditions for trading are good, on a tick to tick basis. A working knowledge of Forex trading would be an asset. The trading logic will be supplied, but it will be up to the developer on how to implement it. The Program will also need to graph price, parabolic SAR, Moving averages, Bollinger bands, MACD Histogram, Relative Strength Index and slow Stochastic graphs. The program should support all the currencies the API supports as well as calculate and graph the currency. Also, graphical indicators of the programs predictions would be required. The graphical look of the program is not big issue. The program must be able to accept inputs such as lot size and keep track of buys and sells. Include way of overriding the automated buy and sell commands, but allow for the prediction to continue. I expect to see a semi-functional, beta stage of the program to test such parts as log-in, watch the graphing of the currencies and predictions. Expect a lot of communication back and forth during the beta testing. For the final deployment of the program, a full working version with install would be appreciated. |
