Project Description:

"Blind" Auction site. (Seller is oblivious to auction process)

THE AUCTION PROCESS

Seller inputs product data. After validation, two things happen immediately: 1 -data is passed to the auction site (goes "live"), 2-all prequalified bidders receive an auto-generated alert of the new auction. (Ex. If a blue widget goes up for auction, only the bidders who have "blue widget" selected in their profile will receive an alert email/txt msg/fax.) Bidders will only be able to view and bid on auctions whose profile match the auction. (Ex. In order to bid on red widgets, bidder must have "red widgets" selected in their profile.)

Winning bidder's payment is deducted from their prepaid account balance, and closing statement is emailed to winning bidder (not to seller).

BIDDER'S PROFILE contains info about the bidders preferences, including: 1- personal data/contact info, 2- the scope of product(s) they wish to purchase and receive notification of, 3- how they want new auction alerts (email/txt msg/fax)along with the appropriate data, 4- prepaid account balance. Winning bids are deducted from this. When account balance reaches a defined minimum, bidder's account is suspended and alerted to replenish funds.

-Site owner (me) must have back office access to supervise auction activity

PLEASE NOTE: This project will NOT involve the development of many features found on common auction sites, such as: a scoring or "feedback" system, shipping issues, communication between bidder and seller, immediate purchase system ("buy now").

Seller's site must be graphically clean, commercially marketable and appealing to the general public, and visually compelling for sellers to freely submit their auction information. Bidder's site and back office will not require the same aesthetic embellishments, but must be visually clean and employ friendly navigational cues.

The product in question is quite simple and easily duplicatable. The sale of said product is highly competitive in nature and is the reason I must require an NDA.

I am on a flexible timeframe and limited budget with this project, therefore I am willing to work with new coders. However, I do require that you speak clear English, and at least have a command of, or access to, the resources sufficient for this project.
