I am currently new to the whole E-commerce industry, so I may have some terminology not correct. I am starting a website based towards college students and their favorite pastime (partying). I will start off the site as an affiliate site. What I want is to use CRE Loaded for right now, mainly due to it being open source with many upgrades and mods for it and pricing. I want to interface to be customized to the theme of my website (which will be given to the winner). Now here is the difficult part: I will be using multiple affiliate/drop shipping companies to sell the items. Many which give me an affiliate id and a few already have a store all you do is host it. (barstore.com) What I want to do is somehow make it so that the customer does not (or it seems to the customer) have to leave my site. Also I want to be able to allow the customer to shop my whole site and only have a master shopping cart. The master shopping cart should be able to hide the sub-carts of each affiliate. Also I need a way so the customer is only charged once by my store, but the affiliates still receive their individual order. I need the front-end and a simplistic backend so I can manage the online store and make changes down the road myself. The project should be in PHP5 and MySql. Another thing needed is a price comparison script that will be easy for myself to edit. It will basically collect the info from Affiliate sites and list them together. I want the customer to be able to input their Zip Code and it display the lowest bottom-line cost as well (Price of Product + Shipping + Tax, if applicable) Relevant skills: Experience in PHP 5, MY SQL Webdesign and Creativity Time Frame: A reasonable period that will not raise the cost, but maybe even discount the price I would like to be able to recieve the finshed project with instructions on editing and uploading, as well with the option to rehire the winner of my project for future work. Also it needs to be 100% legit, no copyright violations, and become sole property of my company. Thanks in advance, I know this is alot but I'm sure there is someone out there willing to help out. Final Note: I basically want to start a Drop Shipping/ Affiliate E-commerce store on a budget. I'm in college and I'm just trying to make a little to help me pay for school and all. I know quite a bit about computers, I build them and all but when it comes to programming and hosting I have no clue. |
