Need to prototype a site with detailed design documentation. The site will have the similar complexity to that of 'freelancerchina.com', mostly classified information, commercial or personal, similar to 'craigslist.com', such as where to find help to obtain a Chinese visa or to find a Chinese tutor or a roommate in Shanghai, etc.. Need to address whether to use strictly ASP.net or ASP.net w/ technologies that are readily available, such as DNN (Dot Net Nuke), or others. Need to address the performance issue Basically, 'search', 'display', 'post', 'edit', 'comment', keyword-text search and drill - down search , Newly added descriptions: The final work of the project will be a full functioning carefully designed / well developed website. The service provider / web site developer should: 1) Carefully consider and use adequate web technologies, making sure that the finished site can be easily scaled in the frontend interface and backend database 2) Good GUI design – Good process flow; please see reference sites 3) Use and conform to good design style, including using uniform naming conventions, neat coding and easy to maintain; need detail documentation on design and development 4) Proper implementation requires common sense and visiting good example sites on the web 5) Communication & feedback; communicate effectively with project creator regarding all issues. The project creator will communicate closely with the developer teammates regarding all aspects of the project. |
