| Project Description:
I need a telephone automation service that can use a telephone line to call customers with a .wav message. Customers should be able to interact with the program over the phone line to choose to schedule a follow-up call in 10 minutes with a second .wav message. Customers should also be able to call in to submit credit card information and record a .wav file over the phone that will be stored for later use. Customer profiles should be stored in a database on a server machine that can distribute a call schedule to slave machines. The server should be aware of slave machine failures and have the ability to redirect failed calls to a backup machine. Each call should be logged so that there is some record of the call successfully reaching the customer. Newly added descriptions: A shareware engine for interacting with a voice modem is availble for free at voicent.com - only the user interface side of this project remains to be developed. |
