Project Description:
To Whom it may concern: I'm looking for a company that will design, develop and implement a total e-Commerce solution for Champion Mustang. This will include a modifiable database (product tables; customer account tables) a content management system (including sub-category management and automatic image processing), a set of functionality (robust search capability; user registration and log-in), and graphic design of an original Champion Mustang signature design scheme. Our current name is Superior Classic Mustang at superiorclassicmustang.com. I would like the opening page to be similar to that of www.mustangdepot.com that give the customer two portals to enter. One for early model Mustangs from 1964-1973 and the other for lat model Mustangs from 1974-Current. Each portal will share the same customer information but have two different payment options. The 1964-1973 portal will be able to accept major credit cards and PayPal. The 1974-Current portal will only be able to accept PayPal for now. Basically both portals will look the same except for the 1964-1973 portal referring to early model Mustangs probably with a graphic of a Early Model Mustang and the 1974-Current portal referring to Late Model Mustang probably with a graphic of a Late Model Mustang. Both designs of the sight should be the same except for the differences mentioned above. I will need a Company logo that would be the same for each portal. I already have chosen a company for credit card processing via a third party site that would need to be integrated into the Early Model Mustang portal. I would also provide you the information needed to setup PayPal in both portals for two different accounts. The search engine needs to be robust. For example: If a customer wanted , Newly added descriptions: "1967 Black Leather Upholstery" and just entered "Black Upholstery" in the search window, I want all items that have Black Upholstery in the title to show up in the results. Or if the customer was looking for Part # C5ZZ-17766-AR and just entered in a partial number such as 17766, all products with that partial number will show up in the results. For your information "17766 refers to a right hand bumper bracket. The C5ZZ refers to 1965 as the manufacturing date. So C7ZZ would refer to 1967 as a manufacturing date for a new model mustang. So when the customer just enters in "17766 he will see all right hand bumper bracket for all years from 1964-1973. The should be be able to pull up any data from the Late Model Section while in the Early Model Section. Once the customer pulls up the results they can click on the specified item and the page should like like this. http://www.superiorclassicmustang.com/data-bumper/C5ZZ-17766-AR.html For an example of a good search engine you can look at www.trophymustang.com. This website is the template I'm looking for each portal to resemble but with a better color scheme and graphics. It's a simple site to navigate and isn't confusing to the customer. The product category can be obtained from www.scottdrake.com. The only changes to that category would be to combine the lighting section with the electrical section. The section that states "Body Parts & Sheet Metal" needs to be changed to "Sheet Metal" and add "Replacement Body Shells" as a subsection to "Sheet Metal" Through the company that will handle the credit card transactions for the Early Model Section they provide shopping cart software. The Late Model Section will be only with PayPal. I think PayPal has a basic cart but we may need this improved to show multiple items in the shopping cart if the PayPal cart can't handle that task. Security features (administration authentication, form field injection protection, database access protection). Trophy Mustang uses PHP in their website so I think this is the way we need to go. I have hosting already with www.godaddy.com. You can obtain any of our existing graphics that you may need from our existing website at www.superiorclassicmustang.com. Send me a price proposal on the assignment and the estimated completion time. Sincerely, J.D. Saxon |
