| Project Description:
We have created a WSS 3.0 team site, it helps our internal staff to track issues, work on projects, share information. Now we woud like expand some of the functions of the team site to external users while limiting their access. Also we would like to add some more functionalities to the site by using custom web parts, site features. This is the phase I of the customization, we are planning to move to MOSS2007 in about 6 months. Below is a lit of the things we would like to do in Phase I. 1. create a non-AD based authentication solution to enable external user to log into the wss site to look up information (related to them only), submit issues. user information should be stored in a separate sql database (currently using mssql 2005). 2. Create a function to allow site administrator to copy view, list and edit them within a site. 3. Create a function to allow user to import data from excel to list in WSS, and to be able to do field mapping conifguration before final import. 4. Optional (not decided yet, please quot separately): A offline WSS 3.0 content reader for our mobile users. Only experienced WSS developers please!!! Must be familiar with WSS' object model. Familarity with .NET 3.0 framework is definitely plus. Please list past experience, sample projects, same codes, billing method. Do not send me generic welcome intro letters. |
