Looking to create an application that will compare two similar images and output information about the changed regions of the images. CLI based app XML output Linux platform Requirements: 1. Ability to define regions on a baseline image and store as a template 2. Ability to specify two image files and a template as input parameters when executing app. 3. Application must output the differences between two similar images based on the specified template. 4. Output must be in XML format 5. Image supported: JPEG, PNG The two images being compared will only be different in relation to the time it was taken. Angle and perspective will not change, light levels will however. XML Output: Summary: - Number of empty regions - Number of full regions - Number of changed regions Details: - List of full regions - List of empty regions - List of changed regions Defintions: Empty region: region matches baseline definition Full region: region is full or occupied Changed region: region is still full, however the color/object inside region has changed. |
