Project Description:
Hi We need a usb driver ported from 2.4 to 2.6 kernel, the driver controls a stimulator which basically applies small electrical currents to neural cells. The driver has already been written by the people that designed the hardware for 2.4 kernel and unfortunatly no one on our team has the expertise to port it across. If anyone is interested I will send over the current driver, manuals for the hardware, the rest of the software (MEA Bench - http://www.its.caltech.edu/~pinelab/wagenaar/meabench.html). Ideally we will be able to arrange remote access to the rig for installated but if that is not possible (the University firewall is apparently an issue) basic instructions for people that are pretty good with linux should surfice. From the people that I have talked to it sounds like this is a very small project for the right person, maybe an hour or two, so I have set a low budget (we are also on quite a tight budget). Please feel free to PM me for any more details but please, no time wasters this is a serious project and we need it up and running as soon as possible. Best wishes Mark |
