| Project Description:
We require a company to build a specialised budgeting program that will work on PC and Mac. It could be a single program built to work on both platforms using Java. Or it could be built using something like Cocoa for Mac and C# for PC. It should use encrypted dat files to store end user information, *not* a database. It must not depend on any third-party software unless that software is free and can be packaged as an integral part of the program (such as .NET). A highly detailed brief exists outlining what must be done. It specifies GUI layout, forms, windows, security and licensing methodologies, everything. An Excel workbook version of a an earlier incarnation of the program also exists. It only remains for the real program to be built based on these specifications. It (or they) must be built in under 16 weeks. 12 would be better and is entirely feasible. Bidders must be companies with solid verifiable credentials. An NDA must be signed before further details of the project can be disclosed. Thank you. Newly added descriptions: I estimate this project will take between 400-500 hours. Max $10 per hour.
