I want to have a community based web site with dating service, classified, News/articles, investment resources/researches and small amount of products to sell as well. It won't make money but sponsor and advertising will help out some costs to maintain ongoing costs. Of course, donation and volunteer will help out as well. I want it to be break up in 3 sections: Dating, Classified/advertising & online shopping (products/service). Search should be based on keyword/s or article titles. I am able to provide some articles for now but not much images or video files. However, I am able to take some photos to send through. I want to web site to be both in English & Chinese on the same page. Prefer not separated in English and Chinese (not sure if that is possible). Newly added descriptions: I like the logo with themes with people meet or get together with text in both Chinese & English. 3 English words (meet a friend, etc) & 4 Chinese words (????,etc) As long as the colour is not too bright but need to be stand out. I might need 3 flash designs. One is gold coins and dollar signs pop-up when mouse pointer on the investment section for couple seconds. One for dating with meet people meets or hug themes (can be cartoon). One for classified/advertising (any suggestions?) - may need more in the future ongoing. A video clip upload/download section may require replacing video clips from time to time. Even a video ad. For few seconds will do for now. Just need it for future purpose and able to replace it with video files later. I want to use PayPal for the start as free service but will moving towards merchant account over time as more sponsor and advertising support comes along. I also want use SMS (short message service) via mobile to provide password & charge small fee for per contact (dating, etc.) I understand general information on uploading/downloading & maintain the web site. However, I have no knowledge of programming (php, asp, etc.) and where are the information go & backup at the moment. Therefore, ongoing technical support may need. Yes, I need Search Engine Optimisation to get more visitors for first 6 months at least. Offline advertising with printed material will be required as well. |
