Our new company is called Maui Activity Center. We need a logo. We like Shag fonts and a retro look like the cool 1950s surf posters, but want the logo to be clean. We would like to see a clean logo that easily says fun or activities and/or hawaii/tropical. Images we are interested in using in conjunction with the logo could be a hula girl illustration or outline and/or a tiki. The most important word in Maui Activity Center is ACTIVITY. The most important image would be either the jula girl or tiki. We've also looked into incorporating a helicopter, and sailboat, but the logo seems to get crowded. It has to be clearly visable and easily readable in B&W at a small size (1/2" x 1/2" as it will appear on stationary and envelopes, business cards, etc. We'd like to see what a business card, stationary, a sign for the store, and a cool t-shirt would look like. We will pay between $100-$250 for royalty free and exclusive ownership of the winning design. If we like the look we'll send more projects to you. Different items (shirt/sign/stationary) may incorporate more than one image, but the general look and feel of the logo has to be recognizably consistent throughout all usage. Will only respond to bids which are willing to provide samples of logo PRIOR to payment by my company. We have been in business for 15 years on Maui as GeckoGroup.org and publish magazines.
