Our team is seeking experienced developers to work with us in an internationally developed web application platform. AJAX Developer/Interface Designer We require a freelance AJAX &/or Interface/Web Designer immediately with view to part/full-time employment: Immediate Work Required: 1.1. An JQuery Ajax (customised) WYSIWYM interface : wym-editor.org We need a'click to edit'solution integrated into our Pylons based CMS (www.appelsiini.net/~tuupola/javascript/jEditable/ ). Any click should invoke a minimal WYM interface, with customisations to allow the use of a standalone FCK Upload instance ( verens.com/archives/2006/04/10/using-fckeditors-file-manager-for-your-own-cms/ ) in place of Image icon to upload files, and insert image into WYM. 1.2. The above with our own custom File Upload JQuery based interface: - File progress. - File browser. Additional Work Required (NOT included in this job): - Long list of CMS interface enhancements. - Client site customisations. - Site design customisation (from templates); convert to tableless Valid XHTML/CSS, customise designs, create designs. Applicant Requirements: - Strong knowledge of XHTML, CSS and JavaScript. - Professional web design skills. - AJAX Framework experience: Prototype &/or Dojo &/or JQuery (preferred). - Provide working examples of your work. Background: A JQuery based editing interface for my CMS. Functionality: Once user is logged in, make changes: A) Mouse-over selected body text, i.e. A News Story 'Our New Website Is Live!', and background of text changes colour (see: http://www.appelsiini.net/~tuupola/jquery/jeditable/06_with_fx.php). B) When you click the text section loads a WYSIWYM instance (ALSO same as: .../06_with_fx.php - BUT with WYSIWYM) C) When user clicks on IMAGE icon in WYSIWYM it loads a pop-up window with a standalone FCK editor UPLOAD instance, NOT full FCK editor, (see: verens.com/archives/2006/04/10/using-fckeditors-file-manager-for-your-own-cms/ ). D) When an image, or file, is selected/uploaded it is inserted into WYM as it would NORMALLY make image appear. |
