A site - ideally PHP/sql - you can use any existing work you may have done or even a CMS - IF it fills the requirements I would like a very classy directory type site, similar to TopHotels.com Admin backend to add more hotels Each hotel on the site is to have it's own SEO details page Each hotel listing to have a thumbnail image area, details on the hotel with tags - ie. Swimming Pool - Yes/No etc. These tags must be searchable. On the main front page, i would like to incorporate a flash map of the world or a specific country - where each hotel would be representated by a small pushpin icon or something - clicking this would then open the hotel's information page. Searching is a key criteria - i need the ability to go on the site, and do a search for - Hotel in Dubai (for example) with swimming pool as a must. Hotels are to be searchable by location and/or features *Implementation of the free "lightbox" in some areas of the site (http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox/) such as thumbnails on hotel listings A site that i would like to take lots of inspiration from is http://www.tophotels.com All hotels will be added by the admin, so no need for any user accounts. For each hotel page, a comments ability would be nice so guests could leave feedback on each hotel I truly would like a website that would refect the "finest hotels" i will be listing on the site - very easy to use, to look at. The implementation of AJAX features would be good. All content will be added by me once the site has been completed. As my concept is in it's very early days of development, there is not a strict time restriction. In particular, i would prefer to give you a longer time to complete the site if it meant lowering the cost. This will mean i am able to spend more of my capital funds on advertising and promotion. I would like to use the winning person to perform regular new work on the site, such as updating and adding new features. Thank you! James |
