I have a VPS running Debian with a Plesk control panel. Several scripts I am running require video processing, so I need the following services installed on the server: FFmpeg (http://ffmpeg.mplayerhq.hu) FFmpeg-PHP (http://ffmpeg-php.sourceforge.net) Mplayer + Mencoder Flv2tool (http://inlet-media.de/flvtool2) Libogg + Libvorbis (http://www.xiph.org/downloads) LAME MP3 Encoder (http://lame.sourceforge.net) I believe that there might be some compiling for use in Debian, but the installations themselves should be a straightforward process for anyone with experience in server management from root. |
