| Project Description:
This is the first of several planned projects. We wish to develop a VB application & database to manipulate large amounts of text in various, specific ways. Application must import / export in Triple-S Survey Interchange Standard format (http://www.triple-s.org). Once imported, it must store this information in its own database, designed specifically to handle & manipulate large amounts of text as rapidly as possible. Software will be required to sort, filter, search, spellcheck (UK English) and fully edit the imported text, as well as allow user to add data associated with the text. Routines will be needed to automate certain processes and error correction, e.g. such as changing some upper case to lower case, etc. Above all the front-end of the software must be of overall professional appearance as we sometimes need to demonstrate our range of data processing services to visiting clients. NOTE: Successful bidder will be required to amend, add to, and improve on the software from time to time in future, for which further payment would be made. Willingness and ability to do so is a necessary condition for bidding on this project. We very much wish to develop a long-term and mutually-beneficial relationship with the right individual.
