Project Description:
We are looking for a inventory control program. Our business hires linen to large corporations on a daily to weekly basis. We need a program that 1. allows us to input the number and type of products we are hiring to our clients 2. A program which allows us to key in the number and type of products that return to our shop after collection, 3. A program that sends us a notice to inform us that stock is overdue for collection. 4. A program that prints out a generic letter to our clients after the returned stock has been inputted and the missing stock generates a letter to the client notifying them of the remaining stock outstanding and its value, 5. A program that allows us to key in the product when stock is returned damaged. The program will need to print out a letter to the client with the replacement cost of the damaged stock, 6. Also suplies us with the standard daily orders, for clients. I will have more detail on email for the successful candidate. Newly added descriptions: There is no existing program. I don't have any program that I can provide to give more detail. Our business hires tablecloths, napkins, chaircovers and much more to large corporations throughout Australia. We also provide commercial washing in two forms 1. we buy the products and they pay for washing or 2. they buy the products and we wash them charging them a laundering charge. Our business is rpaidly growing and is needing a stock control program that is customised to our needs to reduce the massive loss we are experiencing with the hiring of our stock. The loss we are experiencing is in our hiring of our linen, for example we hire 100 tablecloths to a company and only 95 return leaving a loss of 5. Often the customers have just forgotten to return or maybe they sent these 5 back to another company. Either way we need a way to inform the customer there is 5 missing. Currently we only have a manual pen and notebook system for documenting the returns. Our industry only attracks employees with very basic skills and therefore the returns part in the software needs to be very basic for the employees to input the number of stock returned from each company. |
