| Project Description:
Create a Delphi spellchecker application similar to the spellchecker found in Microsoft Word. The application should open a Word file (.doc, .rtf, .txt) and check every word of the file against a dictionary*. When an unknown word is found, it allows the user to change it to something else, skip that word, skip all the subsequent encounters of that word, or add the word to a custom dictionary. After running the spellchecker, the file has to be saved in the same format. *The dictionary can be a simple plain text (Unicode) list of words, compressed with the Zip format. If you have any suggestion of better dictionary formats that you can implement, it would be welcomed. This application will be integrated in another Delphi application later on. |
