Project Description:
We need a DLL, together with an example program that calls it, which does the following: 1) Open a solution or project file developed in any of the following Microsoft IDEs: Microsoft Visual Studio 6/2002/2003/2005, VB.NET Projects, VC# Projects, Managed VC++ Projects, VB Projects, VC++ Projects, 2) Intelligently analyze the project file, to obtain full information on: a) All files that are created (by the build process), b) Runtimes that are needed (ex: MFC), c) Technologies that are used (ex: IIS) 3) Pass that information through the DLL interfaces to an externally running program, which in this case will be the example program. The goal of the project is to intelligently analyze project/solution files, to be able to create setups from them in a single step. You will of course not worry about creating the setup. However, you will find all the necessary information by reading the project files to create a fully functional and wholly inclusive setup for the output of the project file at hand (including items not explicitly mentioned above). |
