Objective Stand alone application that will: 1, open/load a template document (.txt or .html) and data document (.xls) 2, Perform find and replace of any pre defined variables (keywords) with data - each to be supplied by an excel spreadsheet. 3, save the new document 4, environment ??Windows XP and OSX The application should function much like the Mail Merge function in MSWord, with a couple of major differences. A more robust open and save function, the ability to continue on the next data line (MM will start a new document at the end of every row) and to use LF?? ??ogic Functions??inside the data set. See attached Files Platform: Win XP and Mac OSX Deliverables: 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered |
