You are required to design and build a website that replicates the look, feel and functionality of www.kelkoo.co.uk but branded as 'You look gorgeous!' (and not orange!). Instead of the 'Themes' and 'Categories' tabs at the top of the current www.kelkoo.co.uk site I require one tab for 'Shops' (which will link to a page of company logos and our affiliate links) and one tab with the name of the current theme (which will link to a page just like the current Kelkoo 'Christmas gifts' page but with different initial content depending on the theme. The 4 themes will be: 1, Christmas gifts! - This theme should have a Christmas design. 2, Love your valentine! - This theme should have a 'hearts' design. 3, Get ready for Summer! - This theme should have a beach / bikini design. 4, Make birthdays special! - This theme should have a clean, generic design. You will need to design all graphics, a common logo and the 4 theme templates (I can provide some graphics so you get an idea of what I want and have attached a possible logo). I should be able to set the current template from a secure admin page. When the user drills down on a topic, item or category then they will get a list of products and companies with user rating and reviews and our affiliate link to the item (just like the design and functionality in www.kelkoo.co.uk). Information about the products is held in a mySQL database with the following field names: Product ID, name, description, imageUrl, productUrl, price, currency, CategoryID, Categoryname, Merchantname ie 85289761, LG 50PC1D 50 in. HDTV-Ready Plasma Television, Plasma Television, 50 inch Display,HDTV-Ready Television,Resolution: 1366 x 768 pixels, 1000 cd/m?? Other functionality you will need to provide is automatic email Newsletter sign up, removal and sending. I will provide a template for the email which should be automatically generated (the email will be made up of text from a text file (which I can change regularly) with info about and links to the top 5 searched for products as well as the current theme page followed by some standard text at the end with our logo) and automatically sent once a week to everyone signed up to the newsletter. You will need to advise me on how to incorporate the user rating and reviews for each item or shop. You (or your partner) must have good graphic design skills (if possible please provide examples of your skills) and I must test and approve all designs and functionality before the site goes live. The site must go live with the Christmas theme by November 30th and be able to handle at least 100 concurrent users with acceptable response times. Payment will be made when the site goes live.
