| Project Description:
We require a developer to re-design our website, and create an 'open source' type site that we can update freely. We use a MAC computer as well. The main purpose is we want to improve and redesign our website www.glennsimoninc.com to make it more user friendly in an economical and timely way. Here are some points in regards to the direction we want to take: 1. We want our landing page to have 4 clear buttons: investment opportunities, why Edmonton, track record etc leading to our other pages. See the buttons on: www.lensfoundation.org www.discoverdanvilleca.com/ 2. We want a clear and easy to use boiled down site for our visitors for example an investments page consisting of our properties in rows or neatly arranged with information. Which when you click on it opens to another page or to a pdf. We want to reduce the hassle of scrolling that visitors have to do so content is easy to read. For property listing page please see: http://www.welist.com/edmonton.html (but two or three houses per row not one) 3. We like the colors and elements of our website but we are open to new ideas and improvements. A template can be used if it is of high quality. 4. I need to update the content frequently so a simple web based content management system would be important 5. Our site is bilingual and clicks through to a Japanese page. These can either stay as it is or be re-developed to match the main site. No Japanese experience is necessary as the content will not be changed. 6. The successful applicant will need to stay in close communication with our team as our needs are quite complex and specific. For this reason, we need an applicant with a high English competency. 7. We would also like to streamline our newsletter area and implement an automated service that mails out the newsletter to people who sign up for it. 8. We are on a tight schedule; please give me an estimate of how quickly this job can be done. 9. Please include examples of your design work. The selected provider will be chosen based on their portfolio. I need to feel confident with your work process and past track record of completed jobs. |
