This will be a Flash driven site. Here are the specifications: A 3D DVD case (grab a dvd case at home or around, hold it up.) Front (DVD case) a. A flash component (video) of our weeks newest releases -- with text so it is a link to this weeks new releases (www.memferda.com) also use this site for the nav text needed at the bottom of all pages. b. A poll / trivia / review box c. The buttons or tabs I have in mind are 3D, for example, the home page button would be a house, movies would be disks, etc. When you scroll over the real/cartoonish images they should enlarge or pop up at you. d. The image/button to be included should only be a register or 1 Month Free/Sign Up Now tool. Should stand out! e. The navigation tabs to be included are Home (house), how it works/about us/FAQ's (big question mark), and member sign in (Logo). When you scroll over each of these items and they pop up at you a 1 word prompt or explanation should appear. f. I was thinking we could place these tabs underneath the flash trailer. g. As for below the flash and tabs the remaining space can be for a poll icons, to latest member reviews, or any interactive social networking type creative features. We should continue with the icon images for prompts. Middle (DVD case): Member Admin area. When you click on the MM link or even when you push the sign up today button, the DVD case will open. The case will turn onto its side and then open semi flat like as if you were looking down into the DVD case. The Left side being a dry erase board or a cork board; the right side will have a MM DVD which will now have the nav buttons which when you selcet will rotate the disc, so to get to the main sites pages. a. On the left inside will be for the members their user name and password on top of a cork board, and then under it it will say, not a member sign up/get 1-month free today. b. If you are a new member then you will see a form fill-in which you will give pertinent information (including credit card or banking information) c. If you are a member you will see the board with a sticky or colored word that says (myCal , myPicks, myInfo, myNotes or a sticky area for admin to stick new releases in categories of personal interest, and a RECYCLING note; on how our program works or encouraging use, etc) myCal: when you open this up I would like the calendar to appear where the disc is, leaving the left side for the page of movies. Here members will be able to drag and drop to the date where they will be prompted to put in the exact hour or time frame they would like their movies. This should be automatically emailed to me as well as the member confirming their order. myPicks: when you enter this area you will see on the left hand side of the case your current selections in your possession as well as your very next delivery date / time / titles etc. maybe the next 2 (least congested). Also included in this section should be a section for rating your recently viewed titles. much like ebay has for people's feedback...instead of stars however we should use discs, (1-5 discs or maybe thumbs up (1-5) willing to work on this myInfo: will contain their personal billing information, membership start date, renewal date, delivery information, as well as other pertinent member information. The buttons on the disc should include a movies button which will open our catalog on the left hand side, when the dvds appear the disc menu options should change to add movie (maybe a + sign) or the a 3D calendar to have the movies dropped into. The buttons will spin the disc and when its in the right position (top center) you can click on it. Any other buttons you think would be useful for the customer should be added to the disc in this important area. Back (DVD case) : Will be the direct link when you click on the question mark image. The DVD case will slowly rotate or spin. To get to the back other than clicking that button you can just rotate the DVD case with your mouse. a. Carousel with the animated images explaining our services and how it works. b. FAQ's with the most frequently asked questions. c. The about us section. We can also link a to read more, with press releases, articles , etc. |
