Project Description:
New Web Site - Commercial standard casual gaming To create a new website presence and new approach to minigames/casual gaming websites. This website would allow developers of games to publish their game onto the site to allow other developers to play it, give feedback, rate it and ultimately create a place for developers to play other developers games. There would be two versions of the site, a players version and a developers version. I would imagine there would be a tab at the top where you could flick between. Developers would need to create an account. Games: Each game would have its own game page, where the game would be in the centre - a good playable size. Above would be a place holder for advertising. Below would be some stats on the game and way to score it. Players ranking, developers ranking. The games could be submitted in different technologies, Java, Flash etc etc, basically ensuring all different types of developers can get their games published. Making Money: The money will be made through the advertising stream. Each developer will have their game portfolio, and each game in that portfolio will have its own page and each of these pages will have its own unique advertising. Then, whatever revenue that advertising makes will be split with the developers. So, if a developer creates a great game and gets a lot of viewings then the number of advertising clicks will increase and so will the amount of money they make. So the site needs this system built in. Both the advertising display system, click tracking and how much a developer has made for each of their games. Front Page The front page needs to include a multitude of different items including Newest game, top 5 games, top 5 developers, top 5 games (Selected by genre). Highlighted games area. etc etc The site itself needs a much tighter specification, which I will put in place properly for the developer/s selected. Skill sets needed: Complete graphical design - so Web Design and layout skills Customised CMS and accompanying systems - PHP, MySql Newly added descriptions: PRICE: Will negotiate depending on quotation and expected delivery costs. |
