Hi, I am launching a regional tutoring service that I am hoping to have up and running by march of '08. I am in need of a website that can accommodate individual accounts for both faculty (tutors) and clients. I would also like to have an interactive calendar where the tutors can log in, schedule their availability, and have this information show up on a calendar viewable by the clients so that they can see which tutors are available for the selected subject and when (competitors website www.bearpawtutors.com has a good exaple of what I would like). In addition to this, I will of course need to provide a method of online payment for the clients using their personal credit cards (veri sign etc.), which would then be tied into a company bank account. In my research, I found a competitors website that fully articulates what I want: www.veritutors.com. In the first year, we will need the site to be able to accommodate at least 40 individual tutor accounts and 160 individual client accounts. This will also need to be expandable in the future as the service is projected to spread from Boston Metro, to the entire New England Region, though this is not an impending concern to the first 12-24 months of operation. I have already received quotes from some local website design competitors, who are now awaiting the green light for a formal proposal. I wish to give the go-ahead on this project to a development firm within the next thirty days. I look forward to hearing from you.
