I am looking for a PHP developer to create a site similar to Pixel 2 Life. Just as they have, I would like the site built around Invision Power Board but in a way that upgrading the forums will not cause a lot of chaos. Right now I am just trying to get a price range on a project like this and make sure I find people who can do the job very professionally. I don't want someone lazy who will use short hand methods such as 1 lined if statements to save from having to type much, or someone who can't format their code to be clean and easily readable. Also, one thing I found with many PHP "developers" is that they have never heard of a class or method, all they ever use are functions; this will not be acceptable. Lastly, I'd like this to use the same caching methods as Invision Power Board so that the site can handle a heavy load of traffic without taking a huge hit on the database. Also, I'd like an administration panel so that I am able to add,edit, & delete categories & tutorials. I am easy to get along with when I'm working with someone who knows what they are doing and I'm certainly looking forward to hearing back from you. Note: Please give me an estimate on the project with and without a publishing system similar to Pixel 2 Life. (Without a publishing system - the user would just submit a title, description, & link to an external site that opens in a new window.) Thanks |
