An application designed to act as a web spider. The spider will assist in pulling business information from the website www.yellowpages.com The information we need pulled will be based on a search by business category and zip code. We would like the option to search multiple business names and zip codes in one search. The Yellow pages also has 5 distance options and we would also like this integrated in our search. The output information should be categorized and easily exported into an excel format. We also want a counter to give us the number it has pulled while it is doing the job. The categories we will want are: Business Category: (We will label this based on our input at the start of search) Business Name: Website: Phone Number: Address: City/State: Zipcode: We do not need any fancy looking application; just want the program to get the job done quickly and correctly. Must be Window XP and Vista compatible. |
