Job Description To build an application / module, hosted using IIS to be delivered to LAN based clients using their IE / other browser. I suppose like a small website on a intranet site, initially the application would prompt for a password / registration page, and the user can only connect using at least 128 bit security. Once in the application a user would then have a choice of a selection of media, for which on selection a prompt to purchase the media using a shopping cart perhaps, this then needs to be linked to a payment site such as world pay / paypal or possibly embedded in the application, on confirmation of payment the user can access the media. The only other pages required are terms and conditions (confirmation on registration) and a link to instructions of use. So in theory only a maximum of 7 / 8 web pages, or a purpose built app in Flex which can be viewed on a browser. Key application requirements Registration Page - A form integrated in Dreamweaver / Flash / Flex, this needs to be scripted to populate a database with user details, a maximum of 15 fields. Log in - Once registered, the user logs in, and the actionscript checks DB for confirmation. Media page - a selection of media (showing only a jpg), on clicking the chosen media, a prompt for payment, which is linked to a payment website, such as world pay / paypal etc, for confirmation. On confirmation access is provided to the chosen media, and this is registered in the database. Database - Shall be locallised, and shall only contain the fields on the form and registered media viewing (time stamped) - therefore need to include the script to link those fields to the DB Must have: 2 years experience in consumer facing UI design 3 examples of consumer sites you have worked on Preferred experience in: UI development / creating user applications Linking UI to database for checking and population of form fields Technical skills needed: Adobe products, particularly CS3 Flash or Flex Builder and Dreamweaver - with ability to integrate a very small and simple database Special consideration will be given to candidates that have attempted and scored well in relevant online tests I can provide a more detailed script for applicants |
