Project Description:
KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOLLOWING: Joomla (J!) SocialEngine (SE) Gallery2 (G2) PHP MySQL CSS REFERENCE LINKS: Template (PHP, CSS, and SQL files provided) View Joomla template at http://demo.gavick.com/index.php?year=2008&month=Jun Joomla 1.5 (provided - integrated with above template) Open Source download at http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/frs/ SocialEngine 15 day trial at http://www.socialengine.net/trial.php Gallery2 Open Source download at http://codex.gallery2.org/Gallery2:Download TEMPLATE DESIGN Incorporate current J! design and layout into SE using Yellow(#FBD220) in place of the current color (orange, green or blue). Change the look and layout of the user admin profile as well as the user front end profile. The default design is too similar to Facebook/MySpace. We are looking for something a little more unique. Maybe integrating a small amount of Ajax and using a Web 2.0 approach might help get rid of the boxy design. Create a simple select your city splash page without the menu bar header. Keep it clean yet stylish and have it fit with the J! template. Maybe incorporate a simple flash map. Needs to be fairly simple to add cities. If you use flash we??l need the .fla file to add/edit cities. LOGIN Incorporate current J! login bar with SE and Gallery2. To view the login bar, visit the template site above and click on login. The user won?? actually login to the J! or G2 site. When they use the login bar on any site (J!, G2, SE) it will always reference the SE database and create an SE session. So no matter which site they are viewing (J!, G2, SE) it will always say they are logged into the SE site. I have all the coding for the current working version for J!, so all you need to do is point the login to SE. Inserting into G2 should be the same as SE as it uses simple templating. Also, when you click the login button, the login bar slides down from the top of the page, and then retreats when you login. Instead, I would like it to stay open and next to the greeting and users name, insert the SE menu (Profile, Messages, Friends, etc) I would like it to include drop-downs similar to the new SE 3.0 beta menu dropdowns. You can view the SE 3.0 beta version here: http://72.47.252.45/home.php SE CUSTOMIZATION SE currently incorporates user levels (user type: standard, gold, silver, etc) to assign different groups with varying access to features. SE also allows you to add custom profile fields ( ie. Personal Info, Contact info, About Me, etc.) I need to be able to add more control to the profile fields by selecting which profile field collections are viewable to different user levels. For example. A higher level user will be able to add information to the About Me section; however, a lower level user won?? even see the About Me section option. You can view and example image here: http://www.imagebam.com/image/0feede8876616 We would also like to customize the My Friends View with two separate tabs. The regular friends tab shows all default member level friends. And the other tab shows all the non-default level friends. Users should be able to sort the non-friends tab by member level as well as network. The following example isn?? anesthetically pleasing but gives you an idea: http://www.imagebam.com/image/1d0a498877011 You will only be submitting the code/images along with basic instructions on how to insert/change the files on our existing site. You won?? need to give much detail just the basics. ( ie. Insert following code line 156, or change line 156-168 to to this) Also any tables or changes to the database need to be sent in a sql file. We will provide as much information as possible as well as all the current code. This should be an easy project for anyone who is quick in Photoshop and well versed in PHP and MySQL. I NEED THIS UP & RUNNING IN ONE WEEK MAX. |
