Website is Realvoter.com. Need to repair current functionality for advertising, database, and other custom functionality. Work needs to be done immediately and completed in 2 days. You must have team to be able to complete project. Newly added descriptions: To gain acces to the site use email: adams484@gmail.com and password: 1234abcd....Goto the "MySpace" area and look at "My Elected Officials". These are US elected government officials and the user will be able to communicate with other citizens/users about the issues they want their elected officials to act upon. There are polls for each Issue that is created in the elected officials forum, and the user can email and draft letters to that elected official. Those letters will be printed by RealVoter and mailed for the client on realvoter letterhead paper for a fee. The idea of the site is the user can communicate with other users of their elected officials only. This way the content in the elected officials is gauranteed to be that of a user that can or won't vote for that elected official..thus the need for the elected official to pay attention to his or her forum. Not just anyone can enter a elected officials forum. Peoples elected officials are based on their mailing address, specifically their Zip Code. When people register on realvoter they enter their zip code and it is verified by their credit card. The user then has access to only he elected officials that represent that zip code. Ultimately users creat a political community and start campaigns that are important to them. The advertising module got a little messed up, but the user will create and preview their own ads and choose the mailing zipcodes those ads will appear in. So the idea is business in the community will choose the zip codes of their community where most of their business will com from. There is also pages like the home page that will have national advertisers. They will be manually managed. I currently have the database for the entire US Congress and 1 states Upper and Lower Legislature. I just bought a bigger data base which has that and the other 49 states Upper and Lower legislatures. The problem is the new database doesn't have elected officials photos. So i think we'll have to transfer what photos we have from the old database to the new one. The last thing is the school database needs to be connected, it shouldn't be a problem. After this is completed it will go live and the database of other elected officials will be added on as well as more functionality than already exists. |
