Content Management / Joomla project Key objectives - To create a platform to easily manage multiple-member micro websites (with distinct url) in a single content management system - The content of each website can be edited by its owners - Each website is a subset of a particular group with default properties (eg. shared content) Technology - PHP, MySQL, Industry - Real Estate Group definition - Real Estate company Member site - Real estate agents' individual websites - Each site has one owner BACKEND/ADMIN function 1. Multi-Sites management Must be able to power multiple domains Each domain is a site Each site belongs to a parent template group Each group uses a certain no. of basic templates 2. Members administration Super admin -Access to all areas, user admin, maintain access control Webmaster admin -Access to templates Group admin -Edit and publish shared content in each group of sites Site owner -Edit and publish content of each site 3. Content Managememt Sitesmaster management level: Super admin/webmaster can:- -Create, assign and set templates. -Assign default content to each site -Activate/deactivate sites 4. Template level - Each group can have a set(eg 3) of basic template framework - Each template framework determine the basic content layout, position of logo, footer, navigation links, default graphics. - Each template framework can have multiple selectable stylesheets, control of font type, colors, table colors etc. - Each site has a set of configurable parameters - Configurable/customizable masthead/footer 5. Site content Level - Each site has a default 2 level navigation setting based on parent group properties eg. Site A, Site B and Site C belongs to group 'ALPHA', all sites that belongs to group ALPHA will have standard set of fixed content feed from the parent group. eg. The parent group has a list of properties. All agent sites from this group will share the same list. - Each site can also choose what other content to be featured from a content selection menu. - Each site can choose a set of online tools eg. loan calculator, rental search, property search etc. - Each site can subscribe to a selection of RSS feeds made available through a dashboard - Each site owner has its own admin to manage its own personal profile info - Each site owner can upload photos - Each site owner can submit its property for listings - The default content can be edited by site owner - Each site can mix and match content component for their own front page content layout - Each site can upload banner ad within a defined area FRONTEND features 6. Tools/online apps Enquiry form - Rental enquiry form: Residential, Commercial/industrail - Buying enquiry form: Govt housing, Private housing, Commercial/industrial - Selling enquiry form Loan Calulator 7.
