Outline of Features and Functionality 1.Software application will allow the user to import different image file formats at any resolution including tif, jpg, tga, png, raw. 2.Image processing algorithm will quickly generate a clean grayscale alpha matte/mask based on auto-detection of blue/green colors in the original imported image at varying degrees of brightness and hue. (User may also specify green images only or blue images only) 3.??olor Picker??tool for user selectable original image background color range 4.Canvas(working space) viewport options. (User selectable: original image, alpha matte, composite) 5.Composite viewport will combine original image and grayscale alpha matte/mask to show final composite image with alpha. Absolute black pixel values generate transparency in final composite image. White pixel values generate 100% opacity in final composite image. Gray pixel values generate appropriate level of opacity according to its' brightness range to create semi-transparent image edge areas. 6.Grayscale alpha matte/mask absolute black, absolute white and gray values will adjust according to the green/blue or user selected color within the original image to maximize quality of the Grayscale alpha matte/mask. 7.Grayscale alpha matte/mask will have controller property to "fine-tune" or expand/contract and soften the black and white edges of the grayscale alpha matte/mask. 8.Grayscale alpha matte/mask will have controller property to adjust black, white and gray levels of the grayscale alpha matte/mask. 9.Auto color correct green/blue light spill from edges of composite foreground image subject with optional manual "color picker" tool for selecting and removing light color spill.(removal of green/blue hue from composite edge pixels) 10.IMPORTANT: Resulting grayscale alpha matte/mask and composite image must be anti-aliased or comparable in viewable image detail to the original image. The final composite image must be clean and rid of any background green/blue hues or pixels from the original image. 11.Save workspace settings 12.Export images as 32 bit with alpha at native image resolution of the imported image with standard image format options(tif,tga,png). 13.Batch processing of images.
