We are launching a new website using the Magento a PHP/mySQL shopping engine. The site will get product information from multiple vendors via XML feeds. The site will have 250000 SKUs and will need to scale to 1 million SKUs. Specific Needs... Marketing a. gathering shoppers' e-mails, and administering e-mail marketing campaign b. affiliate tracking - via Channel Intelligence c. outbound pricing feeds ??Commission Junction d. inbound product info and pricing feeds - via XML integrations to reflect real time changes in inventory and prices from distributors (IngramMicro, DSI and DBL) Customers may keep their own lists of favorite items, or previously bought items, on the site Be able to Cross-selling and up-sell Built-in site search that allows us to influence search results Method for tracking coupons or special offers (% on product, % on shipping, etc.) Must work with custom written HTML page and CSS Solution will generate both static and dynamic Web pages Must be able to control of the URL Be able to generate site map compliant with sitemap.org Shipping provider integrations (UPS, USPS, FedEx) Software sends the shopper automatic custom confirmation e-mails for order, delivery and reminder to place product review 20 days post purchase. Needs to support import and export of information via CSV. Need reports or dashboard to measure performance Payment method integrations to include Paypal ebillme/billmelater Google Checkout Standard set of CC payment gateways We have existing artwork available in .psd and any other format. 3rd party integration documents available upon request. Expected delivery - early September 2008 Specification Documents necessary for Quotes Channel Intelligence Integration Document DBL Integration Document Ingram Micro Integration Document Sage Gateway Integration Document File Structure that Bert expects from new orders Commission Junction Integration High level Process Overview Distributor(s) Integration Distributor(s) will have new product updates and existing product updates ready for pickup (FTP) at 2 am PST. Files will be imported into database once a day Files will contain normal product information including URLs for product images Images will need to be retrieved, renamed and loaded into site It is possible that multiple distributors will have the same product but with different distributor SKU # When customer views product page, a XML call is sent to the primary distributor to determine if product is available. If available then the customer can purchase the product. Post successful payment authorization, a file is sent to BertMX (legacy application) to process order. When distributor ships the product, distributor sends a XML call to the shopping engine with the order fulfillment information (tracking number, final freight etc.) Upon receipt of fulfillment information customer receives email confirmation that order has shipped including tracking information. Data Feed Integration Feeds will be sent out daily to affiliates (Commission Junction) and pricing engines (Channel Intelligence) Payment Integration Integrations to current payment gateway will be done (HTTPS or webservice) and all transactions will be processed (Auth Complete/SALE) in real time. Google Checkout, PayPal and others will also have transactions in real time. BERT Integration All orders will be sent to BERT every 5 minutes via secure XML feed.
