| Project Description:
I am engaged in a small scale biofuels project. In this project biomass is gasified and then transformed into liquid fuels. The overall process nicely lays out into a series of small self-contained processes which flow one to another. I would like to engage knowledgeable individual with Chemical Engineering background with good understanding and access to ChemCad software. My conceptual process design basis will serve as a quide. I am seeking a process design review which is really necessary as part of the major unit operations level process simulation modeling. Detailed mass and energy balance reports, unit operation design / process flow diagram / major equipment & heat exchanger sizing, process control logic, piping hydraulics and instrumentation analysis, utility flows, and relief design & process hazards analysis will be an essential part. Raw materials specifications are readily available. The plant operation capacity will be 2-4million US gallons liquid product per annum. The initial product specification will be for ethanol, methanol, butanol and DME--all derived from the same process(with an extra step or two) by changing process parameters. I would expect highly interactive communication during development of the simulation model. I prefer and iterative development cycle with frequent delivery and review to assure that we are thinking similarly. I desire Excel spreadsheet interfacing for key model inputs and outputs be created to facilitate ease of use. I have substantial conceptual detailed design information which will be shared upon successful selection of a service provider. I will make myself available to answer any questions. |
