Project Description:
* THE TASK IS AS FOLLOWS 1. Save over 512 small HTML tables from a website into numbered HTML files 2. Apply a style to these tables. The styles will be provided with an example table so all you need to do to the table is add some ID and CLASS tags. * WHATS HARD ABOUT THIS PROJECT 1. Its repetitive. You need to visit 511 pages to grab the 512 tables 2. Each table needs to have its own html file * WHATS EASY ABOUT THIS PROJECT 1. The tables are very small 2. You could make good use of "copy and replace" to make short work of styling the tables once they are saved. On strategy might be to save all the 512 tables into one document and then use "copy and replace" to modify all of them until all the old styles have been stripped off and the news styles are added. However after that each table needs to be put in its own numbered html file. * HOW TO DELIVER THE TABLES Each table should be in a seperate html file numbered table2297.html up to table2735.html. There should be nothing in the each html file except the table. That means that the style sheet link should not be included in the final files. there should be no extra <br>s or anything. Just the table. * ATTACHED SUPPORT DOCUMENTS 1. Example table and stylesheet table.html styles.css 2. Details of website website.doc Newly added descriptions: Also: For each table the "Rates per minute" column needs to be deleted |
