I'm looking for some sort of web bot or scraper program made for me. It will be used to scan the posts of ONE popular online forum. Here is what I need it to do: 1) Scan the parts of the forum I send it to 2) Look for certain words and phrases (I will tell the program what words/phrases) 3) Count how many times EACH of those words appear in EACH section 4) Calculate the average number of times those words appear (using data from previous runs) 5) Calculate the NEW results against the overall AVERAGE results That's the main idea. It will scan the parts of the forum I want. It will count. It will calculate. And then it will show me the results. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have about my project. |
