| Project Description:
The project is to create a multithreaded OCR .DLL that will be used to test against captcha. This component needs to use COM and be compatible with VB6 (unmanaged C++, please). The .DLL will receive a captcha image and return a word. We will supply the method signatures. We expect to run this on Windows XP, 2k3, and Vista. Some known complications are that the dll must be written in unmanaged C++, Vista uses UAC and so the DLL must work in spite of this (not assuming an administrator account), code must not use GPL (or open license that requires exposing of code). We expect an accuracy of at least 50% with the ability to process 10 words/sec on a pentium 4, 1.6 GHZ, single core processor. Source code is required. No hardcoded paths or memory leaks are acceptable. |
