Project Description:
We are looking for the following:- Freelance Market Research Analysts based in Beijing and Shanghai to perform a short but intensive 4-week research project involving Business Partner Matching. We need 3 analysts in each city, with one concurrently holding dual role as Project Manager. Position Responsibilities 1. Telemarketing Campaign a. To email company contacts and follow-up with phone. b. Call to seek companies??interest in attending a one-day hotel seminar to consider partnering with client foreign companies, to guarantee the appointment, re-confirmation, etc c. Deliver a number of Interested Participants as a minimum target to attend the event. 2. Prepare Booklets a. Prepare brief Market Profile of 2 to 3 pages for selected sub-sectors. It will include sector's market size (US$ million), annual market growth rate, local production, main players, consumption habits, consumer profiles, market characteristics, trends, opportunities, main players and challenges. b. Prepare individual Agendas for visiting Delegate companies with settled time for each meeting c. Prepare local interested Participant Company Profiles. Each foreign delegate company will have a small booklet with all the appointments, brochures/description of the local company as well as detailed Check List of all the data requested by local participant companies at the beginning. 3. Welcome Desk Management: Manage morning registration, hand out participant badges and usher participants to their respective tables to meet specific foreign delegates they wish to meet 4. Role of Project Manager a. Analyst Management: Manage 2 other Market Analysts (each to make minimum contacts and deliver a minimum number of interested Participants to attend) b. Event Management: Local team target is to gather and contact a required number of contacts as well as to deliver minimum number of interested Participants to attend event. c. Welcome Desk Service Management: Ensure courteous and friendly service standards from 2 Market Analysts in their liaison with foreign delegates and client staff d. Communications: Provide informal progress updates (by email, telephone, fax) e. Booklets: compile from 2 other Market Analysts to develop 11 Booklets f. Prepare one Interim Report and one Final Report on project progress status Position Requirements Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Economics, Marketing, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Commerce or equivalent. Required skill(s): Telemarketing, Market Research. Preferred skill(s): Event Management. At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Marketing/Business Development or equivalent. Job role in Market Research or Event Management. 3 Temporary positions available.
