PROJECT OVERVIEW & SCOPE This web project involves the development of a portal using the content management system (CMS) Joomla, Voodoo template, LightboxJS (Voodoo is lightbox ready), Hot Property and availability extension. Open to recommendation regarding alternatives to Hot property and availability extension. Full requirements will be provided to the designated developper. Domain name and hosting are not part of the requirements. Color pallet and graphics will be provided. No deadline is set for full solution's implementation. Expertise, creativity and professionalism are the key elements to establish en efficient partnership for this project. Ongoing support and maintenance will be required on a regular basis for enhancements and back end upgrades / updates. Site functionalities: # The site must be multilingual ( at least English ??French); # Different type of subscription will be offered, this must be configured in a way to be easily modified. # Subscription are valid for one calendar year # Subscription must be processed through a shopping cart type of process with secure payment. # Different level of access must be setup to control the type of users: Administrator & Members. # Randomly generated images must appear in the header. Images will be provided. # A specific section need to be setup for advertisement # Pictures provided by the members must be verified (maybe reformatted) to respect a specific format, dimension and size. # Strong password validation must be enforced # Site and listings must be ready for search engines (SEO) Administrator functionalities: * Basic reporting functionalities to monitor activities * The site administrator must approve new adds and any modifications made to existing adds before they are published. * The administrator and members will receive an alert 30 days before the end of their subscription for renewal. * The administrator must be able to email all members * The administrator status must be shown : online or offline Members functionalities: * Members must be able to post and modify their listings * Members must contact the administrator if they wish to remove their add before the end of their subscriptions. * Members can have more than one listing (one listing = one subscription). * Members will have access to one or more discussion forums once authenticated to the site. * Members must be able to contact the administrator * Members must be able to locate their listing on a map (google map or other solution) Visitors functionalities: # Visitors must be able to browse and search through the listings. # Visitors can contact the members directly through a standard form without disclosing members email address. # Visitors can use an ??mail a friend??link to recommend a listing. # Visitors must be able to contact the administrator # An ??wner is online??(or offline) status must be shown on the visited listing if the related member is online or offline # Visitors must be able to mark some listings as their favorite (bookmark or cookie) |
