| Project Description:
We have developed a software which is a controller for a peripheral (USB connected) electronic device. The device is a test instrument which produces pneumatic pressure-time curves in response to commands from the program. The user can create and run these pressure-times curves which we call profiles with an assembly function in the program. The original software runs but has many errors which create problems. The mechanical control portion of the software which interpolates time & pressure seems correct, in that the device responds and performs without error. The problems are related to the GUI interface, platform compatibility and installation of drivers. The drivers and driver control chip are proven items. We seek a skilled VB6 expert who can review and correct the software, and time is essential. Because this is a contoller rather than a productivity software, it is relatively simple and contains a small number of features. The program is designed to run on Windows 98/ME/Win2000/XP.
