The winning bid will deliver, as part of their bid, a functional specification describing the architecture required to develop this project, the time-table for completion, and the estimated cost. We would like to create an application that helps advertisers avoid SMS spam messaging potential customers. Our vision is to develop a smart-phone downloadable application that interacts with the cell phone users GPS application. The application will silently monitor, in an idle state until the user enters a trigger area (for example- within 30 yards of a retailer. At that point, the application would message the user to determine if he/she would like to receive offers from this retailer. If yes, the application would search our SMS database for qualified queued messages and then deliver those messages/product offers to the user. If no, the app would return to an idle state until the user enters a new trigger zone. |
