Project Description:

We are looking for a Flash/JavaScript programmer to port a Flash application to a Google Web Kit (GWT) application that communicates with an existing PHP website. The Flash application downloads XML encoded string from a PHP website, parse it into an XML document, and process it to render the contents. The rendering is done using Flex components: mx.components.Button, mx.components.TextArea, etc.

We want to convert the Flash application into Google Web Kit (GWT) application that renders contents of XML data downloaded using Google Web Kit widgets: com.google.gwt.user.client.ui.Button, com.google.gwt.user.client.ui.TextArea, etc..

In order to do this project, you will need the following skills:
Flash ActionScript 2.0
JavaScript
Java
Eclipse IDE for Java
Google Web Kit (GWT) 1.5.3 SDK.

We will provide source code of the Flash application, URL of a test PHP website, and some documents. The project deliverables are:

1. An Eclipse project of the Google Web Kit application containing all source codes.
2. Unit test programs of the Eclipse project.
3. Documentation of the Eclipse project.

We estimate that it will require a week of work to complete the project for an experienced programmer. The current budget for this project is about US$500.
