I make memorial plaques which people purchase to place on the graves of their departed loved ones. Is it possible to build a site that would allow my customers to personalise their plaques online by inserting and editing their own text and by uploading and then resizing etc. their desired photos? Such sites are common enough - for example there are many sites which will allow you, for example, to design and customise your own greeting cards, or indeed entire publications. My question is, can you help me to build such an 'interactive' site? Look at www.memorial-card.ie or www.babycards.ie for examples of sites that allow the kind of interactivity I want my site to offer. If those links don't work, check out http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/magazine.php or www.mycardmaker.com, though some of these sites are unnecessarily complex. I would offer a limited no.(12-15) of templates e.g. text can only be entered in certain defined boxes and deceased's photo would always be the same size and shape and in the same position on the plaque. In your reply please indicate if you have visited the aforementioned sites to assure me that you have some idea of what I want to achieve. Thanks in anticipation.... LEONARD |
