Me and 2 partners are looking to setup an online game I know minimal amounts about coding pretty good with PHP got a basic idea of what will be needed is why I'm doing the posting. We basically want to incorporate a website kind of combining a http://whirled.com atmosphere with a http://gaia.com. Not saying we want our site to be theirs just a basic concept of what we are looking for. For instance we want users to have a customizable avatar that you can buy items in game for. Along with a house type setup that you can also customize to your needs. We want an ingame currency earned by playing different basic games such as like a basic fishing game/ maybe a tetris of sorts. Just for starts about 4-7 basic flash games that will allow users to earn currency to purchase items for avatars/houses. Also an in game messaging/friends system that allows users to add each other as friends and message each other. Want user profiles depicting their top scores on game and the amount of in game currency earned so far. The game itself could be PHP/ASP coded with just the flash games for in game currency. Open to any coding just making the site user friendly AND secure. And, of course we wouldn't be investing not to make money so an in game donation setup for extra in game currency or maybe special items only purchasable through donations. Just making the game thus far and playable would be fine as a basic quote being able to discuss more details after you express your interest in the project realize this would be at least a few hundred hour project I know that bids will possibly be quite steep as I said just quote thus far the game and it being playable and details I am aware will reflect on the price tags just want a quote for what is posted here as of now. This is including all the basic setup of the game and graphics for the items and site itself. |
