I have recently found a bug in my system where an error message pops up if a selected record is later than available earlier dated records. It works as I described to the previous freelancer but last time I did not test this feature if I was to delete a record and then try to enter the data into the next available record. I have had to delete a record as a customer cancelled last week and now when I tried to enter test data into the new next available record which my customer will have to do later on this week the error message still pops up. So I need this error message to not pop up if an earlier record has been deleted as the new "earliest record" is the one I had chosen. I post this here as I am getting no reply via email from the previous freelancer. In addition to this I have a page where certain fields are pulled from the database on the web page www.pistolpokerleague.com/where.php For example, venue name, address, postcode. Below postcode I would like the addition of the field "Telephone Number" to be pulled from the database also. Newly added descriptions: if you would like to see a demonstration of this bug in action please go to http://www.pistolpokerleague.com/poker/admin and sign in with the username "royal" and the password "johnson". If you then click on "Tournament" > "Add Scores" and select any tournament and then enter any number into "total member" box you will get the error message each time you click "Start". This error message is supposed to come each time someone doesn't select the lowest tournament. But seeing as "Royal 1" has been deleted the system still seems to acknowledge this as the lowest tournament available. As it is not, no data can be added to the database. When how it should work is to be allowed to enter data into "Royal 2" as this is the new lowest available tournament. |
